How to Manage Your Sumext Billing

Upgrade Your Plan

Click Upgrade Plan on the Billing page.

Select your new plan. The upgrade takes effect immediately. You're charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your current billing period.

Current monthly document limits:

• Solo: 300 documents/month
• Team: 2,000 documents/month
• Firm: 5,000 documents/month
• Custom: Negotiated

Switch to Annual Billing

Annual billing saves 20% compared to monthly billing.

On the Billing page, click Switch to Annual.

Pricing:

• Solo: $15/month (billed $180/year)
• Team: $39/month (billed $468/year)
• Firm: $79/month (billed $948/year)

Add Contractor Seats (Solo plan)

On the Solo plan, contractor seats are available as an add-on at $5/month per seat.

Go to Settings → Billing → Add contractor seats. Select the number of seats. Click Confirm, charge is immediate.

Document Add-On Packs

If you reach your monthly document limit, you can purchase additional capacity without upgrading your plan.

Add-on pricing: 100 extra documents - $10.

Available on Solo, Team, and Firm plans.

How to add:

1. Go to Settings → Billing → Add document pack.
2. Select the number of packs needed.
3. Confirm the purchase. The charge is applied immediately.
4. Your extra document capacity resets with your next billing cycle.

Tip: If you consistently need more than 300 extra documents per month on Solo, upgrading to Team ($49) is better value than purchasing 3+ add-on packs.

Custom Plan

For large accounting practices or enterprise firms needing more than 5,000 documents/month, custom contractor volumes, or dedicated support, email support@sumext.com.

Use the subject "Custom plan enquiry". We'll respond within 1 business day.

Cancel Your Subscription

Go to Settings → Billing → Cancel subscription.

Your account remains active until the end of your current billing period. After that, you lose access to the app but your data is retained for 30 days.

To export your data before cancelling, go to Settings → Export Data.
